Why Estancia La Criolla Lodge?

January 29, 2026

Estancia La Criolla is a family‑owned and -operated lodge with deep roots in the Santa Fe plains. Since purchasing the property in 1953, we’ve combined traditional estancia life—farming and cattle—with skilled, local knowledge of the best hunting in the region. That local expertise and our hands‑on approach ensure warm hospitality and efficient, well‑run hunts.

Comfort, service and safety: We offer comfortable, very authentic accommodations—private rooms with en‑suite bathrooms—plus internet, spa services, a tennis court, and fine Argentine cuisine. Safety is a priority: our vehicles and aircraft are modern, well maintained and operated by experienced drivers so guests can relax and enjoy the fields with confidence.

Land, livestock and infrastructure

• We cultivate 5,000 acres of crops including sunflowers, soybean, corn and winter wheat, and we manage 1,800 heads of  Brangus Cattle on 10,000 acres of pasture.

• Our combined holdings, plus leased fields nearby, give us flexible access to exceptional dove, partridge (perdiz) and duck habitat.

• We own the agricultural and hunting infrastructure needed for top‑quality operations: tractors and harvesting machines, horses and trained bird dogs, pickup trucks, water pumps and our own landing strip.

We are literally in the middle of dove roosts and feeding fields—short transfers and several walk‑to blinds mean you spend more time shooting and less time traveling. Depending on seasonal rainfall, duck shooting can be a bit longer ride, 15–60 minutes away. Our experienced, steady guiding team handles perdiz and duck outings so each hunt meets guest expectations.

In short Our family history on the land, combined with full agricultural infrastructure, experienced guides, and a commitment to comfort and safety, makes Estancia La Criolla a uniquely reliable and rewarding place to hunt.
